Gratefully Dr. Zue was able to repair my hip and remove my damaged eye. Did this slow me down in the least---oh NO. I'm a very active, social love bug who has taken it all in stride. I've never met a stranger and rarely have accidents in the house (I do know the piddle pads tho). I am working on being good on a leash and crates don't bother me at all. I do prefer to sleep with my foster mom and my other foster siblings. I love all my foster siblings, big, small, old or pups. Since I only weigh about 10 lbs, older gentle children are a must. Toddlers are not a good choice for me. I love to run and play, so a fenced yard is necessary and a buddy to play with. If I sound like your gal, please fill out our application on our website.
~~All of our dogs are spayed/ neutered before adoption. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines; parvo, distemper, bordatella, rabies, and puppies have had a series of four vaccines. All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative. In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. All dogs come with a micro-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range from 175.00-235.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog. Our dogs are all fostered in private homes at various locations; We do not have a facility. WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR GOOD FOSTER HOMES. YOU MIGHT EVEN WANT TO CONSIDER FOSTERING A DOG YOU ARE INTERESTED IN. Contact leeselman@comcast for more info on fostering.
