You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Rusty is about a 2 year Bassett/Terrier mix, we think. He weighs about 25lbs and is the most laid back submissive boy ever. He has the cutest short legs and long body. He has no problem with letting anyone else be the boss from Tiny Chi Kami to Tanner the huge Weimer. He just loves to be loved and played with so will need a fence for plenty of playing and running with a doggy sibling. Sometimes he sleeps in bed with his foster mom and other fosters or on his Kuranda bed. He has very great house manners and walks great on a leash. He would love to have a doggy playmate with his new family. He is a very social guy who also loves older, gentle kids. He just finished his heartworm treatment so will be ready for his new home in a few weeks. If interested, please fill out our application on our website. ~~All of our dogs are spayed/ neutered before adoption. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines; parvo, distemper, bordatella, rabies, and puppies have had a series of four vaccines. All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative. In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. All dogs come with a micro-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range from 175.00-235.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog. Our dogs are all fostered in private homes at various locations; We do not have a facility. WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR GOOD FOSTER HOMES. YOU MIGHT EVEN WANT TO CONSIDER FOSTERING A DOG YOU ARE INTERESTED IN. Contact leeselman@comcast for more info on fostering.
