Meet darling Rudy—he weighs in at about 20 pounds –could stand to gain a few pounds----we are not sure of his breed but we guess some spaniel or sheltie---maybe even a little long haired doxie possible----he is about 2 years old or so---very sweet—seems to be good with all of the fosters in his home----he was a stray at a shelter so we do not know any history----We would like to see Rudy have a great family that will do some training with him----take him for nice walks, hikes and rides in the car—he loves being included in activities at his foster home---he would enjoy a sweet playmate at his new home---a dog his size or a bit larger or smaller would be fine----he would also be fine with older gentle children---we would probably not adopt him to homes with toddlers or babies------he has not been fostered with them and so we are looking for older kiddo that can help walk him and play with him---- Contact leeselman@comcast.net for more information on Rudy You can find our adoption application here on our website: http://southerncomfortsanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org/animals/search_process Also visit us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/SouthernComfortsAnimalRescueTx?ref_type=bookmark All of our dogs are spayed/ neutered before adoption. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines---parvo, distemper, bordatella, and rabies, Puppies have had a series of four vaccines All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative. In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. Most dogs come with a micro-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range from 125.00-235.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog. Our dogs are all fostered in private homes-we have no facility--WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR GOOD FOSTER HOMES--YOU MIGHT EVEN WANT TO CONSIDER FOSTERING A DOG YOU ARE INTERESTED IN.
