FLOCKI UPDATE  06/29/2010   Flocki was examined today and our vet feels that he may be DEAF or very hard of hearing---he is otherwise healthy but we want all potential adopters to know this---He will do best with a dog in his home that can hear and best not with small children who will not understand that he may not be able to hear them as they come up to him---He will also need to be trained wtih hand signals instead of verbal commands--he is a darling boy--we just want everyone to know this up front---and be willing to provide him with what he needs and understand . Well if you are looking for a big sweet and adorable boxer mix puppy--you can STOP right now!Theydo  not come any cuter than Flocki---His Approx Date of Birth is approx mid Feb 2010--He will be a big boy full grown --probably about 60 pounds or maybe a bit more so make sure you have room for the full size version of Flocki----Also he is a baby and will need s family who has the time to spend teaching him all of the things a pup needs to know---boxers do love to play and are energetic--he would do great with a doggy playmate in his own  home--or frequent playdates or doggy daycare !!  Since he is a baby we would like for his family to sign up for puppy training as well-so he will be a well mannered adult dog.  Contact us if you think you are a good match for Flocki--He was a stray so we do not know his parents or his history before coming to the shelter where we rescued him from. Contact leeselman@comcast.net for an application and thanks for your interest in our great rescued dogs on The Chi Society---
