Hi my name is Carlisle. I am about 2 years old and weigh about 15 pounds. I was taken in to a local vet clinic with some horrible wounds to me. My previous owners were not good people and had left me for a long time with these wounds and how they told the vet I was injured did not match up with the wounds I had. The vet made them relinquish me to her or she was going to press charges. Lucky for me they did so and she took care of me and made me all better. Even with such horrible care from my previous owner I remained the most lovable sweet natured boy you would ever meet. I am all healed up now and very healthy. The vet asked my foster mom to take me in and help me find a home where I will know nothing but love from now on. She made sure I was treated for heartworms and I sailed through the treatment as if nothing had happened at all.  I am still working on my housebreaking since I had always lived outside before I was saved. I am making progress and now know how to go in and out of a doggy door. I live with many other foster dogs and I love them all. Everyone is just another pal to run and play with. The foster home cat fascinates me and I want him to play with me but he just doesn’t appreciate my energy and would rather I just stick to the other dogs.
