Meet Doc-----he is mostly std doxie mixed with a little something else-----He came up with a terrible neck wound to his rescuers home looking for help--she has a couple of dogs and took him in---We are not sure if he was attacked by another dog or got caught on a barb wire fence--but his neck was in bad shape----He has been treated wtih antibiotics and it has healed up and only left a thin scar about 4 inches long----He is healthy and happy and now ready to find his own home---He acts as if he was someone's pet as he has nice manners not barky crate trained if he needs to get in a crate--but does not bother things in the house---so really not necessary---We think he is about 3-4 years old and weighs about 20 pounds or a bit more---a good little spunky and faithful companion----he would be fine as an only wtih a family that would have time to spend with him--or with a laid back female his size or bigger. Since he is a bit older--he is easy to have around if you are looking for a great companion---but not up for tons of exericise --nice walks rides in the car watching a movie--just being with his family would be awesome for this boy---he is a little shy at first but warms up once he gets to know you--he just deserves to be loved and pampered. He also learned to sit up for a treat--which is very cute to see !!
