11/01/10 RIO UPDATE----Rio's foster mom is happy to report that just when she thought Rio could not get any sweeter--he continues to be one of the best dogs she has ever fostered. He gets along with everyone-small and large dogs. He has nice house manners---loves to play in the yard with his foster siblings--but at night puts himself to bed in the crate next to his foster mom's bed --and PULLS THE DOOR TO HIMSELF--where he then stays quietly sleeping all night long--what an amazing and precious boy !!! I will probably be between 50-60 pounds full grown so please make sure you have room for the full grown version of me ! My mom is a black lab and we think dad may have had a litte shep in him. I have been fostered since I was very young with a great foster mom--she has worked with me on leash training socialized me with all kinds of other dogs and she says I am a lover and a very nicely mannered boy. I am past the very young baby stage---but a young and playful pup--ready to join my new family in any adventures--I would love a doggy playmate at my new home---or trips to the doggy park or doggy day care !!
