Hi my name is Sammy and I am a darling 2 year old poodle boy. I weigh about 8 pounds and I am sweet as can be. I was taken into rescue when my groomer saw I was not getting proper care and was loosing weight. She was able to get my former family to turn me over to rescue. My jaw had been broken by a large Labrador in my home but was fixed by the vet. Unfortunately my family did not follow the instructions given by the vet and because of other poor choices by my family it ended up broken again. So now my jaw is a little off set and my tongue sticks out a little. But I eat like a champ in my groomer’s home who is fostering me. Because of the jaw trauma I do have a salivary gland that is not working properly at this time so I have a small pocket of fluid on one side below my jaw that the vet says may go away in time it is unknown right now. This does not take away from my cuteness one bit as you can see in my pictures. I run and play with the other dogs in my foster home and even the huge dog does not bother me considering my past attack I have moved past it and just want to be happy and loved. I am looking for an adult only home or one with older children that know to be careful with me.
