Meet Reggie! He is a precious heeler mix boy approx Date of Birth Jan 15 2010. His markings are very heeler like but his legs are a bit shorter--so we think there might be a little corgi or something else thrown in for good measure. Our estimate is that he will be around 30-40 pounds full grown. He is very social with all of his foster brothers and sisters and they are all much larger than he---He is doing very well with his potty training--but he is a puppy so he will need a family that has the time to continue to work on that with him as well as other puppy training. Heelers are working dogs---and very smart--so Reggie will need a family that can provide fun activites for him on a regular basis---walks hikes playing fetch etc. Just another note--as sweet and loving as Reggie is we will not adopt him to a family with small children as herding breeds sometime want to herd small children and the kiddos do not want to be herded ! Reggie loves playing with all of his toys and his foster mom has a kiddy pool full of sand he likes to dig in---He is always up for a good snuggle and is a really very special boy----his foster mom says he is one of the best pups she has ever fostered ! Reggie is a really wonderful pup and will be a great addition to a family looking for a young pup to love teach and nuture. He will give you back to love ten fold !
