Hi! My name is Red but my foster mom says it should be Rhett...as in Butler...as in Gone With the Wind whatever that is because she says I am a rogue with charming manners and of questionable heritage. It's true. I'm guessing that there is some Catahoula and some Labrador somewhere in my ancestry but I really don't know for sure what my lineage is. What I do know for sure is that I'm a big handsome fellow with a red-and-white merle coat and a pleasant demeanor. I love everyone and it shows in my face. Take a look at my pictures and see what you think. It's also true that I behave well in polite society but can I romp and roughhouse with the rowdiest dogs. I hold my own play-fighting with the big dogs but I have a gentle side too so I'll stand back and let the little ones eat my dinner. I'm house trained--and crate trained but I'd rather sleep next to you. I like car rides and I walk nicely on a leash. You wouldn't be embarrassed to take me anywhere and I would love to go everywhere with you. Here are my stats: I'm about five years old and I weigh 65 pounds. I've been neutered and microchipped I'm heartworm negative and my vaccinations are current. In other words I'm ready whenever you are.
