Benny is an adorable little shih tzu--he has had a rough time of things in his short life--he was found as a stray and rescued---he had sarcoptic mange and his foster mom got that cleared up and got him in good shape--then when it was time for his neuter the vet detected an irregular heartbeat and upon further investigation and a costly ultrasound we have found that Benny was born with a congential heart valve deformity--it is not a condition that can be repaired and is something he will have to live with---He will need to take heart medicines for the rest of his life and when we do neuter him--he will need a more costly type of  anesthesia and monitoring to try and make sure he has no problems during the surgery---we hope the will do fine with the surgery and that there is someone out there who has the love to give this boy--our vet has said he could be fine for two years or ten years--one never knows with a heart defect.  he is not ready for adoption yet--but we did want people to meet him and know about his condition----if you would like to contribute to his surgery and monthly maintenance medicines , Benny and us would be very appreciative--you can donate via our paypal acct at tlandry002@comcast. net or you can mail a check directly at 15019 S.
