Meet Romeo!

This boy has been through a rough time, Romeo was rescued from a kill shelter just hours before he was going to be killed.  When we met this boy we could not let him be another statistic, he was only 10 months old a stray in the shelter with an injured leg… He stole our hearts!  Once we got him to safety we took him to the Veterinarian and found out his injury was old and could not be reset.  Can you imagine the pain this precious boy had been in?   So we got busy raised some funds and got that injury fixed.  Romeo had a Femoral Head Ostectomy.  Now his hip is healing and he’s on his way to a happy normal play life!  Romeo is fostered with 3 foster brothers and a sister!  A Staffordshire, a Yorkie a cat and a Doberman.  Romeo also has a human foster sister (14) and brother (10).  Romeo is a well rounded social dog!  He LOVES his people and sometimes thinks he’s a lap dog!  Romeo is housebroken and crate trained.  He walks great on his leash and loves to go for his walks.  Romeo is looking for a home that will help him to continue to heal.  He will need to take joint supplements and a lean body weight will be best for his hip.  He will get stronger and stronger each day building the muscle with exercise and walking.  Romeo LOVES to play with the toys so even just throwing on for him to fetch is a great exercise for him.  Romeo is a loving, happy dog waiting for his forever home.  If you’d like more info please contact leeselman@comcast.net or michell.boswell@comcast.net
