This is Dolly.  We estimate her age to be about 1 1/2 years.  She was rescued along with Clark and Melly from a backyard breeder puppy mill that got out of control.  They had no human contact except to be shooed out with a broom to go outside so of course they are very shy.  When she came into foster care in October no one could touch or hold her.  With a lot of patience and gentleness she is coming around.   She was very patient with the groomer recently so she is beginning to accept people.  It will take a family who will be willing to work with her with lots of love and attention and maybe a trainer.  She LOVES to play with her fosters and has no issues with dogs of any size or age.   She sleeps with her foster mom and a few other fur kids all night without a peep.  She is doing very well with house training, but occasionally uses the puppy wee pads.  She is great on a leash and doing well with crate training.  We don't think a home with small children will be a good match for her, but definitely she wants a doggy playmate.   Please fill out an application and contact tlandry002@comcast.net for more information.

All of our dogs are spayed/ neutered before adoption. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines---parvo, distemper, bordatella, and rabies, puppies have had a series of four vaccines All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative.  In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. All  dogs come with a micro-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range from 175.00-235.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog.  Our dogs are all fostered in private homes in Texas or New England; We do not have a facility.  WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR GOOD FOSTER HOMES. YOU MIGHT EVEN WANT TO CONSIDER FOSTERING A DOG YOU ARE INTERESTED IN.  Contact leeselman@comcast for more info on fostering.
