~~JACKSON and his siblings were born under a building to a mom (we named Gracie) that was a stray and very thin due to lack of food and nursing her 6 pups.  When they came into our rescue the pups were about a week or so old.  At this stage we really don’t know what their mix is, but mom only weighs about 35lbs and has short stubby legs like maybe a Corgi or Bassett but has the short coat of a Lab.  The dad might have been some Shepherd mix.  We estimate their birth date to be about Feb. 14th so they just had their first vaccines at 6 weeks old.  Once they finish up their vaccines/wormings schedule and are spay/neutered they will be ready for their new homes about the first of June.  Jackson is the thinker.  When a puppy pile tussle starts, he access the situation and decides when to jump in.  If anyone gets a little too pushy, he is the first to back off and reassess the situation. .  Please email leeselman@comcast.net for an application and more information Please be sure you have the time to train a new pup and also room for  the full version of this pup !!

All of our dogs are spayed/ neutered before adoption. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines; parvo, distemper, bordatella, rabies, and puppies have had a series of four vaccines.  All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative.  In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. All  dogs come with a micro-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range f rom 175.00-235.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog.  Our dogs are all fostered in private homes in Texas or New England; We do not have a facility.  WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR GOOD FOSTER HOMES.
